Washington police and other law enforcement agencies served a search warrant Wednesday afternoon seeking evidence in a fatal shooting that occurred in the city this past weekend.
The city’s police department issued a press release stating they were seeking video evidence from 147 N. Main St., which is currently leased by the Sin City Disciples Motorcycle Club.
The building is close to the location of the Oct. 11 shooting that claimed the life of 20-year-old Jullian Lassic of Washington.
Lassic was shot and killed shortly before 3 a.m. that morning in the alley next to Joe’s Bakery at 123 N. Main St. A second victim was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital.
Washington Mayor JoJo Burgess said Thursday that the warrant was sought for the purpose of collecting surveillance footage, and was not connected to any specific individual. A copy of the warrant was not immediately available.
