El-Khoury was arrested while trying to cross the border into the U.S. from Champlain, Que., Peel Regional Police said in a news release Thursday.

El-Khoury is scheduled to appear in a Montreal courthouse on Thursday afternoon before being handed over to the Peel Regional Police.

Deabaitua-Schulde, a member of the Niagara Hells Angels charter, was shot to death on March 11 after leaving a workout at a gym in a commercial plaza on Dundas St. near Cawthra Rd. in Mississauga.

Deabaitua-Schulde was a full-patch member of the Niagara charter of the Hells Angels and was actively involved in debt collection regarding sports betting, multiple sources told The Star.

Marckens Vilme, 28, and Joseph Pallotta, 38, both of Montreal, have also been charged with first-degree murder for Deabaitua-Schulde’s death.

Brandon Reyes, 24, also of Montreal, was charged with complicity after the fact.

Pallotta has a criminal record that includes weapons possession, fraud and possession of false documents

Vilme’s lengthy criminal record that shows a long-standing association with a Montreal street gang called the Ruffriders, and connections to Quebec Hells Angels.
