In the old days of the wild west if someone stole someones horse it was a crime punishable by death. The reason why it was punishable by death is because a horse was someones transportation and lively hood. When someone lost a horse back in those days it could be a situation where someone could loose their lives being so far away from towns or cities. Personally, I think that punishment fit the crime. Could you imagine walking out of a saloon, and your only mode of transportation was gone? Talk about a life changing experience.

Lets fast forward to modern times. You’re enjoying a bike week or some bike event and you walk out and find your motorcycle gone. Talk about a kick in the balls. The feelings of rage and sadness someone must feel to be in that kind of situation. Its a situation we were all reminded of when a YouTube creator and his wife had their scooter stolen down at Daytona Bike Week. The couple who lost their motorcycle goes by “The Ornery One” on YouTube. I’m a recent subscriber to their YouTube channel and enthusiastically recommend that you go over there and subscribe as well. They are damn good people and have nothing but positive things to say on the channel.

In this day and age it’s extremely hard to find people who maintain a positive outlook on life. Especially a couple whose gone through so much. The ole lady had a life threatening medical condition I believed five years ago. It was discovered that she had a brain tumor. Thankfully, at least it’s my understanding she was able to beat it. What’s so admirable about it is this couple remained positive. I couldn’t imagine experiencing that with China Doll. I’d be a wreck and would despise the world. But this couple stayed positive.

So when I seen a video circulating on all the social media sites about their motorcycle being stolen I went over to check out their channel. The sorrow I feel for them loosing that bike started building more and more as I learned more about them from following the videos. First off, the cocksuckers who stole that bike. You’re nothing more than a waste of human existence. I hope it was worth the grand you probably made stripping that bike to feed your meth habit. My greatest wish for you would be you overdose and someone finds you in some gutter like a rat piece of shit you really are. You must have a sad existence. This goes for all those who steal motorcycles. How do you actually look at yourselves in the mirror knowing you’re nothing more than a piece of crap and drain on society? I know what the excuse is. Your mommy and daddy’s never paid enough attention to you. You had such a hard life and had no choice but to go around stealing motorcycles.

Personally, I wish the old west laws steal existed today. Someone steals a motorcycle or car hang the bastards I say. Anyways rant done on that. People can see how I look on those who steal motorcycles. Back to the couple who lost their ride down in Daytona. Hopefully, they will be able to get into another one. Right now from a video I just watched on their channel they are dealing with the insurance company. Yes, we all know how those insurance companies can be. Actually, they can be as worse as the thieves who stole the bike. Always trying the least expensive way to pay out. One issue the couple is having is they didn’t have Gap Insurance. For those who don’t have Gap Insurance I highly recommend getting it. This way you’re covered if God forbid you ever face this same type of situation.

So how can you take steps to help ensure your motorcycle doesn’t get stolen? First and foremost always carry full coverage insurance. If you’re making payments on the bike make sure to get the Gap Insurance on it. Don’t try and get the lowest amount of insurance premiums when it comes to the motorcycle. Get the best policy available. The next thing you want to do is get security for the bike. The following is a list of security devices that can help give you peace of mind while your out on the road. Especially at rallies or staying at hotels.

1. Get a good loud sounding motorcycle alarm. Make sure the alarm is so loud when the motorcycle is touched that people will here it for miles. You also want to make sure the alarm has a two way paging system. This way if the alarm goes off you will get notified by the pager. 2. These next two or at least one of them is a must for anyway attending rallies or parking outside of a hotel room. These devices prevent the thieves from rolling the bike into a truck or van. The first one you put on your rear disk. Its the Big Pantha Heavy Duty Disk Lock. Its made of14mm hardened steel shackle, double deadbolt patented locking system (extra safe) to secure the wheel rotor. This technology is MUCH TOUGHER than your conventional Motorcycle Disc Lock that uses a measly 6mm pin to slide through the rotor hole. 3. Ok, so how do you prevent the snatch and grab? This is when the thieves pick up the bike with multiple people and load it. This one is easy, especially with today’s technology. Thieves and rats prey on the weak and ignorant. At the minimum make sure your ignition and handlebars are locked. The more you make it difficult for them to steal your motorcycle the faster they will move on to try to find something easier to steal. Thieves really only have about a five-minute window. Some extremely good motorcycle thieves can do it in three minutes. If you have your scooter protected, they will move on. Especially at a rally. Thieves tend to be extremely nervous at a rally because the owner can return within minutes and others are observing what’s going on.

Finally, I have a question for those who go around stealing motorcycles. How do you even consider yourselves bikers? In my opinion you’re nothing more than a rat who snitches on a brother or a friend. Thieves are right there with snitches and child molesters. Thieves are unable to accomplish anything on their own, so they have to go steal what others have. In this case of this couples bike in Daytona. You took something from someone who was having a hard time in life. People who are decent and you fuckhead cowards destroyed what little they had to look forward to. You know what they say. Karma is a bitch and she always comes back to kick you in the balls. In your cases, I hope she takes a damn sledgehammer to your balls and makes you suffer. Just like you did to this couple.
