A 41-year-old man is dead and a 37-year-old man is in stable condition after being shot at a motorcycle club in Pontiac early Saturday morning, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to the Nightriders Motorcycle Club on the 300 block of Raeburn Street at 3:30 a.m. after reports of gunshots being fired, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. When police arrived, several people were fleeing the club.
Deputies were then met by members of the motorcycle club who said there was a victim on the floor of the men’s restroom. Several shell casings were found on the restroom floor, and the man was transported to McLaren-Oakland Hospital where he was pronounced dead, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies later found the second victim in the parking lot who had suffered two gunshots in his left arm. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was reported in stable condition.
Meanwhile, deputies said the shooter was detained in a room inside Nightriders by club members. Deputies took the 42-year-old man into custody, and he is being held at the Oakland County Jail pending criminal charges.
This is the third recent case of a shooting happening at a motorcycle club in metro Detroit. On April 13, a man was shot outside of the Cobras Motorcycle Club in Inkster.
Then,on March 12, three men were shot at the Boogie Down Motorcycle Club on Detroit’s east side.
