Police are warning about the emergence of a bikie gang in Adelaide known as the Rock Machine, following the arrests of alleged senior members and raids at two properties.
A 40-year-old man described by police as the local gang president was arrested at the Royal Adelaide Show on Friday, after a loaded gun and 1.5 kilograms of a drug believed to be methamphetamine were allegedly found at his Athol Park property.
Police said the gun was a Glock model 26, and the man has been charged with firearms offences and drug trafficking.
A 28-year-old man was also arrested and charged with drug trafficking after 250 grams believed to be an illicit substance were seized at a Paralowie property on Friday morning.
Both men have been released on bail and will face court in September and October respectively.
Detective Chief Inspector Michael Fisher said the arrests were not related to a recent feud between rival outlaw motorcycle gangs [OMCGs].

“Both men are members of an emerging OMCG group known as the ‘Rock Machine’,” he said.
“The person from Paralowie is the secretary of that particular group and the person from Athol Park is the president.”
“Whilst these incidents are not linked to the recent spate of tit-for-tat incidents we’re investigating … we will continue to target all OMCGs and their associates.”
The Rock Machine gang has a lengthy history in Australia and overseas, but police said the group had only been active in Adelaide for “several months”.
“There are a couple of other chapters interstate, but as I said, [it’s] an emerging group that we certainly have targeted,” Detective Chief Inspector Fisher said.
“There are several groups that we are looking at.
“We exist to disrupt and dismantle these groups before they get a foothold in this state.”
Police said 80 properties had been searched in relation to gang-related inquiries over the past few weeks, and they urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

WTF. Apparently it’s just open season on anybody wearing a patch, even if they aren’t doing shit.
Now, tell me why these LEO motherfuckers had to search over 80 properties to bust a few people who were doing something. That does not make it okay to harass all those others and fuck up their lives.
LEO’s are bigger criminals than all of us put together over the past 50+ years. I still hate those prick motherfuckers and always will.
