Police have put out a public appeal to find a man wanted in connection with the 2012 shooting murder of Adelaide businessman Jason De Ieso.
Kyle Lloyd Pryde, 31, was previously known to live in Newton, in the Adelaide foothills, but extensive inquiries by police have failed to locate him.
A warrant for his arrest to face a murder charge was issued by the Adelaide Magistrates Court on August 26.
Pryde is wanted in connection with the murder of Jason De Ieso, 33, who was shot dead at his Pooraka paint and panel workshop on November 21, 2012.
SA Police Detective Superintendent Des Bray says, given Pryde’s alleged involvement in this offence, and his potential access to firearms, he should be considered dangerous.
Innocent victim
In 2013, police released chilling footage of nine men, including six armed with guns, marching into De Ieso’s workshop where the 33-year-old spray-painter was shot dead.
Police believe the shooting was linked to rivalry between the Hells Angels and the Finks bikie gangs but stress that De Ieso was an innocent bystander.
At the time, De Ieso’s family also made a plea for public help, saying “an innocent life was taken by a cowardly and gutless act of criminal violence”.
