Upon arrival, officers discovered Justin Seenes had suffered a gunshot wound and had been transported by private vehicle to Genesis Hospital.
Seenes was treated for his injury and is currently listed in stable condition.
Capt. Scott Comstock said no further information is being released about Sunday’s shooting incident, including the name of the suspect, pending the investigation.
According to court records, Seenes has a history of gun violations. In 2013, he was placed on community control for carrying a concealed weapon. His community control was later revoked when, in 2015, he provided a false identity to officers following a shooting incident. Seenes was considered a suspect in that July 2015 shooting incident in the 1000 block of Greenwood Ave., where no injuries were reported. According to records, police were not able to conclusively identify Seenes as the shooter in that incident.
