LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WACH) – More than $100,000 in drugs and cash were found after arresting a motorcycle gang member during a traffic stop Monday afternoon on Interstate 20, according to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.
Steven Daniel Brown, 46, is charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute marijuana, according to arrest warrants.
“Deputies, with the assistance of state troopers, stopped Brown on I-20 Monday afternoon after he committed multiple moving violations,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “Brown is a documented member of a motorcycle gang known to deal drugs and guns. Deputies found about seven pounds of meth in his vehicle during the traffic stop.”

Deputies then used two search warrants at two homes connected to Brown after the traffic stop, according to Koon. One home was on Westside Drive in West Columbia and the other was on Highway 321 in Gaston.
Investigators arrested Hannah Kay Wooten, 38, at the West Columbia home. Wooten’s charged with possession of meth, according to arrest warrants.
“Deputies also seized marijuana, six guns and ammunition during the search warrants,” Koon said. “We’re glad to have these drugs and weapons off the street.”
Brown was previously arrested this past March after narcotics agents found marijuana plants in a mobile home while searching for another person in an unrelated case. Brown was charged with trafficking marijuana and possession to distribute methamphetamine in that case. They found the marijuana plants at the mobile home in the 5000 block of Highway 321, according to deputies.
Brown is now at the Lexington County Detention Center. Wooten was released after meeting the conditions of her bond.

A fucking traffic stop isn’t a valid reason to search the car in the first place, and taking it even further is total bullshit.
