A group of alleged Mongols outlaw motorcycle gang members and associates allegedly turned on police on the Gold Coast in the early hours of Friday morning after officers were called to reports one had headbutted a patron at a nightclub.
The men were kicked out of Fat Freddy’s Beach Bar and Diner following an incident inside the Broadbeach venue, where another person was allegedly assaulted and a glass was smashed.
When officers arrived, they allegedly saw one of the men urinating near the premises, before they approached the group and asked for their names.
It is alleged one of the men then kicked an officer in the chest, before being tasered by police.
A second man is accused of punching the window of a police car once arrested.
ABC can reveal the men charged with obstructing police in relation to the incident are Joshua Maurice Tobin, Luke Daniel Atkins and Remina Benjamin Avaemai.
The men aged in their 20s will face Southport Magistrates Court on December 9.
Robert Luke Hepburn, 36, from Clagiraba has been charged with assaulting police and one count of obstructing police.
He is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on the same date.
Allan John Joyce, 54, from Western Australia was charged with two counts of committing public nuisance, two counts of obstructing police and two counts of assault police.
It is understood Mr Joyce is a war veteran who police said was previously linked to the Mongols bikie gang in Western Australia.
He is due to face Southport Court on December 13.
