RANDOLPH, N.H. —
New Hampshire prosecutors have released their witness list for the trial of a Massachusetts man.
Volodymyr Zhukovskyy, 26, faces charges after a crash killed seven members of the Jarheads Motorcycle Club three years ago in Randolph.
Investigators charged Zhukovskyy with negligent homicide, manslaughter, driving under the influence and reckless conduct.
The list contains 104 people. Granite Staters make up 62 of the witnesses. Others are from Vermont, Maine, Pennsylvania and Kentucky. State and local police officers are included, as well as people working in forensic labs and correctional facilities.
Black Law Group attorney Patricia LaFrance said a large witness list is to be expected with the “significant amount of charges” and “significant amount of victims.”
“You have to remember the protectors,” LaFrance said. “The state has the burden to prove every element of every crime charge beyond a reasonable doubt.”
Lafrance said the witness list may have additional names as backup.
