LAGRANGE — “It means so much to us. the first initial finding out he had cancer was overwhelming and they were right there.”
Elizabeth Ames is supporting her son through his battle with cancer, but she’s not alone.
In its second ride for charity event, the Red Knights Motorcycle Club will be riding for 10-year-old Garrett Armstrong of LaGrange, who Ames said was diagnosed with leukemia at the beginning of this year.
“Garrett was diagnosed Jan. 22nd of this year. I took him to the doctors for a stomachache and this is what it came out to be was leukemia,” said Ames
