
TEHAMA COUNTY, Calif. – A man convicted in the motorcycle dragging death of Johnny Gregory Jr. was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, according to the Tehama County District Attorney’s Office.
Ray Ray Cain Jr. was convicted of first-degree murder with special circumstances that the murder was committed by the means of torture.
Cain Jr. was sentenced on Thursday after he was found guilty on Sept. 7.
He used a rope to drag Gregory Jr.’s body behind his motorcycle during a police pursuit in Red Bluff in February 2021.
