Tri-state area motorcycle clubs gathered together for their fifth year of raising food donations for the City Mission of Findlay Saturday.
Bikers from both in and out of state gathered food donations in the parking lot of both the VFW Post 5645 and Tim & Tommy’s Tavern from 3-11 p.m. Donations were separated into food types before being weighed and packed onto pallets.
In previous years, the biker food drive has raised over 150,000 pounds of food with last year alone raising over 50,000 pounds.
Beyond the biker clubs, Miami Industrial Trucks donated the use of a forklift while Ohio Logistics donated the use of a semi-trailer to transport the pallets of food. The VFW Post 5645 also donated $5,000 to the City Mission directly.
