UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — An off-duty cop walking his dog in Yorkville was brutally beaten Tuesday by the reckless biker he told to slow down, according to officials.
The off-duty officer, 52, broke his ankle in the struggle with the violent biker near East 90th Street and First Avenue on Tuesday about 7 p.m., police officials said.
The enraged motorcyclist repeatedly punched the cop to the ground then fled east on East 90th Street, according to officials.
The officer, who also suffered cuts to his face, was rushed to Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition, according to police officials.
