BALDWIN — The 51st Annual Blessing of the Bikes was held in Baldwin over the weekend, giving bikers from all over a chance to meet, greet and share stories.
“To me, it is a time for bikers of all genres to get together with one common denominator: That is for camaraderie, good times, spend some extra money and looking forward to a safe riding season with everybody,” said Mark Bird, president of Para-Dice Motorcycle Club, which organized the event before handing it over to the Duane E. Dewey AMVETS Post 1988 in Baldwin this year.
One biker said it’s important to meet each other and enjoy the social aspect.
“It’s the camaraderie for me,” they said.
Another biker appreciated the fact the event is kept safe and prays for safety of all the other bikers.
