SIMSBURY, CT — A fundraising event for Connecticut Special Olympics promises to deliver amazing visuals on local roadways courtesy of two massive cruises this weekend (one for cars, one for motorcycles).
But it also will create traffic disruptions in town.
As a result, the Town of Simsbury is urging motorists to be patient during “The Dream Ride Experience” events Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 26-27.
The event actually starts Friday in Farmington at the Farmington Polo Club, 162 Town Farm Road, with a car show, entertainment, food vendors and other festivities.
