WBFF (Baltimore, MD) — Baltimore Police have identified the victim killed in Sunday’s mass shooting in east Baltimore as Anthony Martin, 36.
Officers responded to the 1300 block of north Spring St. just after 8 p.m. after receiving multiple reports of a shooting.
Commissioner Richard Worley confirmed a total of eight people had been shot during a gathering. One victim was pronounced dead and later identified as Martin.
A lifelong family friend shared a picture of Martin and detailed Martin was playing basketball at the park as the group always does on Sundays when the shooting happened.
