Changings are coming and hardcore at that for Insane Throttle. Insane Throttle has been in biker news and podcasting since 2011, one of the first in depth content platforms to cover this type of niche. Since then they’re have been many imitators who try to ride off the Biker News niche. I’ve just got back from a long sabbatical, one that was needed to rethink Insane Throttle and how to give the biker community what they wanted. This was especially needed since many out there claiming to do biker news had no ideal what they were doing.

HARDCORE BIKER NEWS RETURNING WITH A FURY

To move forward one must address the failings in the past. This is needed in order to truly reset and be successful in the future. This very basis was in my thoughts during my time off from Insane Throttle.

One of the biggest mistakes that Insane Throttle did was lean to heavily into taking the position that motorcycle clubs were always right. This idea wasn’t true journalism if you will, but pandering to a small section of a very big biker community.

From this point on Insane Throttle will focus on the biker community as a whole. If we’re covering news about motorcycle clubs, we will be right down the middle, no bias towards one side or another. With every story we cover the basics will be coming back into play.

This is an important step into bringing Biker News credibility. This niche has gotten so big even mainstream and some not so mainstream news media outlets have picked up on it.

Biker News Credibility

Let’s face it, most so-called biker news sites are not credible whatsoever. You have some moron with a mic, no motorcycle or attachment to the biker lifestyle, trying to cover events as if they no something about it. I’ve seen multiple people that would fit this category believe me.

When you have someone that’s never lived the life, trying to act as if they are an expert, that kills the niche.

In order to bring back credibility to the niche, Insane Throttle believes a non bias view is needed. This might hurt motorcycle clubs feelings, or piss them off, but this is the only way to be balanced. My past affiliations will not play a role in Insane Throttle no longer, from here on out it’s reporting the facts.

Motorcycle Club News

When it comes to motorcycle club news I’ve mentioned above that it will be done non-bias. In the pass Insane Throttle always tried to always take the clubs side. This was the wrong path, especially since much of the stuff we covered about clubs was their own fault. We actually looked pretty stupid and I hate to say it, unreliable when it came to club coverage.

During my break I would go back into my video catalog and watch as an outsider. I wanted to see what everyone else was seeing when it came to Insane Throttles coverage of clubs. What I saw I didn’t like, I wasn’t serving the biker community as a whole. I was shoving crap down their throats about some of these motorcycle clubs actions that was totally bullshit.

From now on when we cover stories about motorcycle clubs, they will have an opportunity to have their side heard. This will either be in the form of interview, statements or whatever. One thing we will not do is carry the water for motorcycle clubs like in the past. It’s up to the motorcycle clubs to defend themselves, it’s not the job of Insane Throttle to do it for them.

Return of Motorcycle Madhouse
