No injuries were reported and the building was deemed safe after a semi-truck rolled across a street near Libertyville and hit the side of a Harley-Davidson building, police officials said.
Lake County Sheriff’s Deputy Chief Chris Covelli said a 52-year-old male driver of a 2007 Kenworth Semi-truck was in the parking lot across the street from the Harley-Davidson building in the 14000 block of W. Rockland Road at about 12:20 p.m. on October 25.
Covelli said the driver, from Vernon Hills, believed he put his truck in park using the emergency brake before exiting the vehicle to enter a building to use the restroom.
