A staggering number of “high-end” motorcycles − worth an estimated $40 million − were seized earlier this month in Mexico and authorities believe they belong to former Olympic snowboarder Ryan Wedding.
The 44-year-old Canadian is on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list for allegedly running an international drug ring that brought cocaine from Colombia to Mexico, Canada and the U.S. Just last month, the U.S. Department of Justice increased its reward for information leading to Wedding’s arrest and conviction to $15 million.
On Monday, Dec. 29, the FBI’s Los Angeles office released several photos of what Mexican officials recovered. Included were 62 motorcycles, as well as two vehicles, artwork, two Olympic medals, drugs and other items, according to Mexico’s Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection.
