FAIRMONT, W.Va. — One-time alleged Pagans Motorcycle Club leader Ryan Lane will receive no jail time after pleading guilty to a charge of “organized criminal enterprise” as part of the 2022 Marion County murder case of Henry Silver.
Lane was sentenced to five years of probation and ordered to pay a $10,000 fine along with court costs as part of a ruling by Marion County Circuit Judge Patrick Wilson on Wednesday, less than three months after agreeing to a plea deal for the single felony charge.
Prosecutors asked for 5 years of home confinement, a $10,000 fine, and seven years of probation. The defense requested time served, which equated to roughly 18 months. According to the West Virginia State Code, a felony charge of “organized criminal enterprise” can carry a maximum sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
