The gang members have been charged with a number of offences including driving with the intent to evade police and failing to comply with a direction to stop in aggravated circumstances.
The incident occurred at about 5.25pm on Friday after police received reports of a large group of outlaw motorcycle gang members gathering at a service station on Safety Bay Road in Baldivis.
Gang Crime Squad operations manager detective senior sergeant Todd White said the arrest of the 18 gang members includes the club’s national vice president of the western region and other office bearers based in Western Australia,
“This arrest of 18 outlaw motorcycle gang members, and the seizure of their motorcycles is the most significant arrest in recent memory in Western Australia,” he said.
