Five men allegedly affiliated with rival motorcycle clubs have been indicted on gang assault and related charges following a violent daytime confrontation along Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst in September, Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney announced.
Those charged are Roger Clarke, 53, and Christopher Clarke, 21, both of New Hampshire; Joseph Bivona, 46, of Centereach; Michael Baffa, 57, of Farmingville; and Robert Miller, 54, of West Babylon. Prosecutors allege the defendants participated in an armed melee involving alleged members of the Pagan’s Motorcycle Club, the Hells Angels, and the Demons of Hell, a Hells Angels support group.
According to investigators, the incident occurred on Sept. 14, 2025, at approximately 3:28 p.m. Authorities say the violence followed an earlier confrontation at a Lindenhurst bar, where members of the Demons of Hell and one Hells Angels member allegedly interrupted a memorial service for a Pagan’s member. Shortly afterward, at least 15 individuals gathered at a nearby Route 66 gas station, where the dispute escalated into a fight involving knives, hammers, baseball bats, and other weapons.
