Some might have notices some changes going on with Insane Throttle Biker News social media pages. These changes are happening so we can make it easier for everyone to find the stuff that interests them. One of the things about Facebook. They made it harder for people who follow a page to get updates when they are published. This is why we encourage everyone to go to their notifications settings on Facebook and make sure Insane Throttle Biker News is checked. For example. Only 4% of the total readership is aware of current posts. This is because that’s the maximum Facebook will allow shown. They want to you pay to boost posts for $20 to $60. Only then, will Facebook show the post to all the Pages followers.
Over the last few weeks, I‘ve been watching the trends on our social media pages. I‘ve also been taking in some emails as well as taking phone calls on the hotline. Here is what I‘m gathering from those I‘ve spoken to. Some people like the club coverage and some don’t. Many think we are doing the right amount of coverage, and some think we have too much. The people who think we have to much coverage fall in the independent category. I get their frustration because they came to Insane Throttle for the non-biased news and other subject matter which does not relate to the club scene. On the other hand Insane Throttle was built around the core principle of the club scene. This is why we have grown the way we have.
Introducing Insane Throttle Biker News sister site. The Biker Life. The Biker Life is dedicated strictly to the independent biker scene. The page will contain editorials, news, babe and bike of the day and a whole lot more geared specifically for the Independent Biker. No talk of clubs will be allowed on the new page. Club news will be specifically shown on Insane Throttle Biker News. The Biker Life will also have it’s own news site as soon as I can get everything put together. The web address will be bikernewsnetwork.com. That site should be up and going no later than Friday.
Why the push to satisfy everyone?
It’s genuinely not a push to satisfy everyone than it is an opportunity to bring in more bikers into the Throttle. When I started Insane Throttle, my idea was it would be a platform for all bikers to come and get straight down the middle news. No bias, just straight news so the reader could make up their mind themselves on the material. I also came up with a business model that would allow people who have a passion for writing. Have a place to showcase their work in front of a global audience. We include some talented writers like Bellend, Chuck, and now David Walters. If you would like to submit material you can do so through our article submission email listed at the bottom of this article. Point being I envisioned a community built by bikers, for bikers.
Other Changes coming to the Throttle
Motorcycle Madhouse the flagship program that launched the audio and video readers are currently enjoying will have a format change. Motorcycle Madhouse (though still funny) will have more than just talk of clubs and profiling. Bikers want more to a show than just club talk. They want more mainstream programming as well. This will include rally updates, flat track racing news, hill climbs, motorcycle manufacture news and even the going on within the country outside of biker stuff. After all, we are all American Citizens who have a love for country.
The Biker Angle will be focusing on more mainstream Independent Biker topics. The club life was good to me and I will continue to report on the scene through articles on Insane Throttle. But the topics I genuinely enjoy talking about are the ones that made us all bikers in the first place. Just like our Facebook group’s title “Gas Grass and Ass” these represent the subjects I will be focusing on in the Biker Angle. I’m going to start hitting the road doing some interviews with the independent biker owned shops, tattoo shops and even some strip clubs in between lol. Point being I think it’s time to kick it up a notch on The Biker Angle.
One of the biggest complaints we have over at Insane Throttle Biker News is our response time to readers questions and concerns. Insane Throttle is now on Ask FM social media platform. Why use email when you can send the Throttle questions directly? Click on the banner and you can send us them and have an answer within only a few hours. The App is connected right to my phone and I’ll reply as soon as I can.
So the moral of the story is Insane Throttle is hitting the Mainstream. I’ll have updates as we start rolling out more. Until then don’t forget to hit the newest sister site to Insane Throttle Biker News- The Biker Life
