ABILENE, Texas —
Three members of an outlaw motorcycle gang accused of robbing and beating an Abilene man were indicted Thursday.
Daniel Aragon Machado, 36, of Abilene, Justin Nathaniel Aldava, 23, of Abilene and Jesse Lee Trevino, 34, of Merkel, were indicted for aggravated robbery, robbery and engaging in organized criminal activity.
The victim — a member of the Kinfolk Motorcycle Club — rode past the Bandidos’ clubhouse in the 1300 block of Butternut Street on July 25.
According to the indictment, Machado, Aldava and Trevino followed the victim and tried to kick him off his motorcycle.
They eventually cut him off and surrounded hium.
The victim pulled out a gun and held it at his side.
He said Machado yelled “There are 30 more people coming to get you.”
The men also shouted “You can’t disrespect the Bandidos!,” “This is our turf!,” and “We’re going to shut you up like we shut Dusty up!,” according to the indictment.
Wesley Dale Mason, a former Bandido, is charged with his murder.
Worried that they were going to kill him, the victim said he holstered his pistol and got on his bike to leave. But Trevino tackled him off the bike and onto the ground.
According to the indictment, the victim was kicked numerous times in the head, upper shoulder, back, chest, and stomach. as well as kicked and stomped in his hips and knees.
The victim said he was also punched “numerous times as they held onto his beard.”
According to the indictment, Machado, Aldava and Trevino tore off the victim’s Kinfolk Motorcycle Club cut and left.
The victim said Aldava ran over him on the way out.
Machado, Aldava and Trevino were arrested Aug. 29. All three were released the same day on $150,000 bond.
