Mongols Motorcycle Club member Christopher Clay Wilson was sentenced to 120 days in jail and three years’ probation for his involvement in the death of Ricardo Viera.

Wilson was arrested, along with Eliseo Ray Miranda and Arturo Desiderio, after Viera was shot during a May 5, 2018, dispute between the Mongols and the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club near Zingo’s Cafe on Buck Owens Boulevard. Viera had a known association with the Mongols.

Wilson was originally charged with multiple counts of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit a crime and participation in a street gang, but all the charges, except for accessory, were dismissed in August. He pleaded no contest to the accessory charge.

He was sentenced Friday in Kern County Superior Court. Wilson also received $370 in fines.
