MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A man died in a motorcycle accident on Government Street Monday.

Mobile Police identified the rider who died as 29-year-old Dillon Charles Fisher.

Police say the accident happened at 12:46 a.m. March 25 at Government and Etheridge Street.

Fisher had been traveling westbound on Government Street at a high speed when he hit the back of a dump truck, according to MPD. He was then hit by a second vehicle. Police say Fisher died on scene.

One of Fisher’s friends, Ryan Andrews, says he was a disabled combat veteran of the U.S. Army who served in Iraq with the 3rd Infantry Division. He was an employee of Moe’s BBQ in downtown Mobile.

Andrews says, “Dillon was gifted with the incredible ability to leave a remarkable impact on those, who had the opportunity to share in his human experience.”
