Arrest of cowards made in murder of Danish biker who vanished in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS, La. (WKRG)  A dream motorcycle trip across the U.S. has turned into a nightmare for friends and family of a Danish biker who vanished in New Orleans and was then found murdered. Bikers from Denmark reached out to the Biker Dad blog about the disappearance of Poul Hansen. Hansen and his motorcycle club, Blood of Heroes were on a coast to coast tour of the United States when they made a stop in New Orleans.

The very next day it was discover Hansen had been murdered, shot in the head on the streets of New Orleans. Now police have arrested a suspect in the case. The full press release is below. It does not mention motive, but friends tell the Biker Dad blog Hansen was robbed of his leather jacket, wallet and phone.

UNEDITED PRESS RELEASE:

NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD has arrested Brandy Myles (DOB: 06-06-1982) in connection with the homicide of Poul Hansen on May 18, 2019 in the 4200 block of America Street.

At about 6:05 a.m., NOPD Seventh District officers responded to a call of an aggravated battery by shooting in the 4200 block of America Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male victim lying in the street with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Upon completion of autopsy and notification of family, the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office identified the victim in this incident as Hansen.

As investigation into the incident progressed, NOPD Homicide Unit detectives developed Myles as a suspect and obtained a warrant for her arrest on a charge of second degree murder.

Myles, who is currently in custody in Jefferson Parish on unrelated charges, has been re-booked in connection with the NOPD investigation.

  1. I have always lived by the rule that you never, ever call the cops. This lowlife motherfucker is a murderer and a thief. fuck him.
    And, really, watch your ass in New Orleans. There are hundreds of these fuckers looking for anyone to rob and kill over a nickel. Plus, it’s not like the cops aren’t still just as dirty as they always were.
