Seven people have been arrested and charged after a three month long police operation targeting bikers

Seven people have been arrested and charged, after a three month long police operation targeting bikies in the southeast came to a head today.

Operation Metro was believed to be specifically targeting members and associates of the Hells Angels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang.

Detectives from the Major and Organised Crime Squad and Logan District executed five different raids early this morning, at properties in Ormeau, Marsden, Parkinson, Daisy Hill and Springwood.

The Chicago Police Department vowed Thursday to “swarm” motorcycle rally points and use helicopters license plate recognition cameras and noise monitors against motorcycle clubs

During the raids, they allegedly located a number of firearms, drugs and OMCG clothing.

Police say more arrests are likely.

The charge details are listed below:

A 32-year-old Daisy Hill man has been charged with one count each of supplying dangerous drugs, possessing tainted property and failing to comply with a direction.
He is scheduled to appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on February 21.

A 32-year-old Daisy Hill man has been charged with one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, possessing utensils and possessing things used in the commission of a drug offence.
He is scheduled to appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court January 28.

A 27-year-old from Marsden woman has been charged with one count each of possessing utensils and possessing tainted property.
She is scheduled to appear at the Richland Magistrates Court on February 2.

A 38-year-old from woman Daisy Hill has been charged with one count of possessing dangerous drugs.

Banning members of outlaw motorcycle gangs from clubs as well as known drug dealers and people who have a history of violence.
She is scheduled to appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court January 28.

A 19-year-old woman from Crestmead has been charged with one count each of possessing weapons, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing utensils.
She appeared at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today and was remanded in custody.

A 38-year-old woman from Shailer Park has been charged with one count of possessing dangerous drugs.

A 28-year-old woman from Daisy Hill has been charged with one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, possessing utensils, possessing things used in the commission of a drug offence and six counts of fraud.
She is scheduled to appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court February 3.

  1. Whoa. Big Bad Biker bust. I believe that 6 or the 7 people arrested were women. Therefore, not possible to be Club Members.
