Another man has been charged following raids on Melbourne properties connected to the Mongols outlaw motorcycle gang and a murder earlier this week.
The 30-year-old Carrum Downs man was arrested on Friday and charged by the anti-bikie Echo Taskforce with eight offences including possessing three handguns, a submachine gun and ammunition.
He is due to front Melbourne Magistrates Court.
It comes after police raided a dozen properties linked to the Mongols on Wednesday, including a clubhouse in Port Melbourne where they found six guns and ammunition.
Two men were arrested during the raids and charged with the execution-style murder of fruiterer Paul Virgona.
Josh Rider, 29, and Aaron Ong, 34, are accused of opening fire on the 46-year-old as he drove to work on the Eastern Freeway at Donvale during the early hours of November 9.
The duo are due to face court again on May 27.
A fourth man, arrested alongside Rider and Ong, has been charged with drug possession and will appear at Ringwood Magistrates Court on May 7.
