Police arrested three members of the Rebels Motorcycle Club today and charged them with criminal association following their attendance at a Golden Grove licensed premises on 19 January.
The legislation makes it an offence for Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG) members from Declared Criminal Organisations to associate in groups of three or more in public. The Rebels are one of the 10 Declared Criminal Organisations under the legislation.

Detective Chief Inspector Michael Fisher, Officer in Charge, Crime Gangs Task Force, said, “This legislation has had a significant impact on Outlaw Motorcycle Gang members in terms of their ability to meet, interact and plan their activities.”
A 27-year-old Walkley Heights man, a 36-year-old Redwood Park man and a 32-year-old Mawson Lakes man were all charged with being present with more than two criminal organisation participants.
They were refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court later today.
