AKRON, Ohio — Akron police released images Wednesday of three people whom detectives believe are connected to the deaths of a 43-year-old man and his 1-year-old daughter, who were struck and killed by a vehicle while walking in West Akron.

Police described the three people in the image as persons of interest, according to a news release. Investigators said the person wearing a hat with a letter “C” is also wearing a vest with a symbol for the Afro Dog Motorcycle Club.

The victims, Horace Lee, of Akron, and his 22-month-old daughter, Azeria Tucker, died at the scene of the crash around 10 a.m. Sunday on the 400 block of Crouse Street, and police have said they believe the driver intentionally targeted Lee.

Investigators say Lee was pushing Azeria in a stroller on the sidewalk when someone driving a black SUV, possibly a Cadillac Escalade, struck and killed them

Akron police are seeking to identify and speak with the people in the photos. The department also released images of the vehicle believed to be connected to the crash, which has an effects light near the ground.
