FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) — A Fort Wayne group is working to support our military by restoring a park.

Warrior Breed Motorcycle Club says that “Operation Blacksnake” will focus on restoring Heritage Park at the 122nd Fighter Wing and the aircraft that are memorialized there.

In November, the group helped revitalize Memorial Park, replanting trees and dedicated a plaque to 125 local soldiers who lost their lives in World War One.

The club is now accepting donations to help them refurbish the aircraft. They say all funds exceeding the goal will be donated to the park for additional upgrades.
